The Orangun of Oke-Ila Oragun, Osun State, Oba Adedokun Abolarin is redefining qualitative education with the establishment of Abolarin College in the state, for brilliant but needy students, Abolarin shared with Funmi Ogundare his vision of grooming outstanding students. Already, students of the college are winning state and national awards in creativity Twenty-eight students of the Abolarin College, Oke Ila-Orangun, passed the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) as they all surpassed the cut-off score of 150 marks that JAMB stipulated for admission into tertiary institutions. While 15 students scored 200 and above, 12 of them scored between 180 and 199, while one person scored 165. The highest, Master Gabriel Micheal had a total score of 266 in his subject combination, while Master Sadiq Adebayo scored 165. He is a Grade 11 student of the prestigious Abolarin College, Oke Ila, a school strictly for the indigent and less privilege Nigerian students.His Talent was notice by his school proprietor HRM OBA ADEDOKUN OMONIYI ABOLARIN, AROYINKEYE 1 who handed him over to a close brother of his,who is also an artist, he owns the famous GENESIS GALLERY, Osogbo. after his good performance at the EXPO 2019 a talent display program organized by the Nigerian Television Authority [NTA] in Abuja late 2019. His special gift of making beautiful sketches and drawings is extra-ordinary as the lad has so far made beautiful pencils and paint works of great people around him such as the sketch of The State of Osun Governor, his school proprietor , The Ooni of Ife, Madam Reverend Esther Ajayi and many other great Nigerians.
